A unique community showcase celebrating local and regional talent rooted in South Central Indiana and the surrounding areas, Amplify Nashville returns to the Brown County Music Center in Nashville, Ind., on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Presented by the Brown County Music Association, this evening brings rising artists to the biggest stage in town, where they can share the spotlight with one of the area’s most celebrated nationally touring acts: The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band.
The evening opens with Sami Riggs, the fan-selected winner of the 2025 Brown County Songwriter Showdown. From there, the spotlight turns to two outstanding bands chosen through the inaugural Rumble on the Rocks competition at Hard Truth Distilling on May 30, June 6, and June 13. These emerging artists will be selected through a combination of fan votes and judges' scores.
Headlining the night is Brown County’s own: The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, often called “the greatest front-porch blues band in the world.” Led by master finger-picker Reverend Peyton, the trio—featuring washboard virtuoso Breezy Peyton and drummer Jacob “The Snakob” Powell—has carried their electrifying country-blues sound to 38 countries and 48 states. With No. 1 records on the Billboard Blues Chart and acclaim from Rolling Stone and others, their music is rooted in heart, tradition, and a live show that leaves audiences clapping, stomping, and singing along.
At Amplify Nashville, every ticket helps make a difference. Proceeds from the event support Nashville area food pantry Mother’s Cupboard and other Nashville-area charities, helping strengthen the community that inspires the music.
